回复 :上季Max为了摧毁基因库，回到Manticore。遭遇幼年版的自己，被击中心脏倒地，Zack捐出了自己的心脏挽回了Max的性命。Manticore转移到一个隐蔽的退伍军人医院，继续做自己的研究和训练，并开发出了X6，X7代转基因人。因为基因库已被Max摧毁，所以需要X5通过最原始的Sex行为来繁殖下一代。指派给Max的性伙伴竟然是Ben的孪生兄弟，Max为其起名：Alec。Max一直没有放弃逃出Manticore，她从自己的房间挖了条通道到地下室，在地下室发现了X5之前的几代转基因人，因为融合了过多的动物基因，所以外表和人类相差较多。并且碰到最早被博士所制造出来的第一个狗人：Joshua，后来在Alec及Joshua的帮助下。Max逃出了 Manticore。但是Manticore在Max身上下了种病毒，专门用来对付Logan的病毒，只要他们有身体接触，Logan就会中毒身亡。解药只有一支。解救过Logan之后，Max只能痛苦得和爱人保持一定距离。同时，Manticore发现Max的基因组合是最完善没有任何瑕疵的组合。有个神秘组织几千年来通过正常生育手段来繁殖挑选优秀的基因突变人。此组织某个成员脱离组织后，成立了Manticore，此人就是Joshua所说的“父亲”。Max是他精心设计的特殊一人！Max后来潜入了Manticore彻底摧毁了该机构，同时把地下室以及其他X1－X7全部释放出来。season2的故事这时候才真正地开始，Max如何与Logan在无法接触中保持爱情？逃出的转基因人如何在社会中生存？大家对非人形的转基因人，象Joshua那样的狗人是接受还是恐惧？神秘组织怎样才能得到Max？“父亲”在Max身上到底做过什么？？
