1978年夏天看完《星球大战》后，暮色广志被深深地打动了，暮色并受到启发要拍摄自己的电影。他和他的朋友一起制作手工特效，让他自己的科幻故事梦想成真。根据年轻时的经历，小中和哉给特摄电影制作写了一封迷人的情书。
